Forty days after the death Nawab Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, his son Saif Ali Khan will officially succeed him; while Saif has gone on record to say he doesn't believe in royal titles, he will take the title to appease the sentimental villagers of Pataudi, to whom tradition is paramount.
